"This isn't as stylish as the oval one and the top is more flimsy, but for the price and for what it does it's absolutely worth it. The swinging lid makes the litter much easier to scoop daily, and the squared sides hold on to trash bags when it's time for a full clean. My cat is 12 pounds and the top has held up well despite the plastic being thin. She's a bit of a maniac about jumping in and out of the box, no delicate paw lifts here, so I'm satisfied."
"This was something new I wanted to try and so far I don’t have many complaints. It is easy to clean. The only thing I have noticed was the small tabs that allow the lid to flip up tend to easily pop out of place when trying to clean up. There are no broken components and I can say the lid supports my 16lbs cat. Great product over all!"
"This is perfect for the cat that has an "Elevator Bottom" aka . . . . lifts their hiney wayyyyyyy up high to do the business. I left the 'hood' off for a few days, letting kitty get used to the new box. Eventually adding it successfully. It's easy to scoop inside of all sides, and the lid flips/or removes easily to scoop/empty litter. I searched for months for a talllll box, (without having to make one ) THIS ONE is perrrrrfect."
"This is the first litter box he cannot manage to cover my bathroom in litter. He loves to toss it around like it is a party. The flip up lid is miles above the ones that pop off like a plastic tote. I do wish the entry hole was in the center but we make it work."
"I like this litter box. Very easy to clean The part that clips to the box was a bit fiddly, I like that it has a swing top so you don’t have to take it. Apart to scoop it out! I recommend it!"
"Just what I wanted only downside is the lid has to come all the way off to clean and at litter soles out the holes that hold lid when I’m cleaning sometimes. I like the top that catches their litter on their paws nice opening just the right size . No corners or dips for dirty litter to get stuck in and dog proof mostly ."
"Both small and big cat use and both have no problem getting in and out. More liter, less mess, and my dogs cannot get in to it (they both range from 15 to 18 pds). The scoop is not great, but there is even a little spot in the bin to hang it, just recommend getting a different scoop, but the bin is great!"
"I love that there is less litter all over the place. Of course with open container the scent is there, but we just clean it when it needs it. The cats took to it quickly. Coming from an enclosed side entrance box. I wish it was a tad bigger. Overall pleased."
"Our cat began to pee on the side of her typical style cat box which led to leaks where the top and bottom met. This new design with high sides and a flip-top lid solved the problem and additionally reduced the amount of litter tracked out of the box. We were worried about the top entry but she figured it out immediately and seems to like it. Cool design!"
"So I am an absolute vet litter hater. Through and through. Cannot STAND stepping on the granules constantly. Pisses me off to no end. This box literally eliminated it. Completely. The only thing I don’t like is the openness because when that cat goes you smell it everywhere and no one likes it, but give and take. That can also be alleviated by purchasing litter box hideaway furniture. And this I will take!!There’s no litter flying out everywhere, getting tracked all over as they step out. Voila! Love it. Mine even came with 2 scoops! I will be purchasing another very soon for my other furball:)"
