"The container is exactly as advertised, but seems to smell strongly of plastic. Even after hand washing, putting in dishwasher, and leaving sit with baking soda, the smell persists. Was buying to store cigars in, but worried about the smell leaching into them. Have to find another use is guess."

"My wife really likes the IRIS containers with the gasket seals. Over time we have been replacing standard sealed plastic storage containers with these with gaskets. The reason? Easy, no matter how well a standard container appears to be packed and stored invariably my wife has found on opening pests have often infiltrated. Moisture has often got in and mold/mildew can occur. The gaskets prevent those issues and are the only way we will go for storage containers; give us the seal and we give our seal of approval."

Used in storage to protect

"Used in storage to protect food items from bugs and to easily see what items are inside. I like it because it's just the right size for like cake boxes, etc. but the seal or padding on the cover aren't looking durable. In fact, some have already disintegrated on the corners but overall I like this product. Hopefully, they'll ensure that the pads aren't ripped so it can actually be sealed tight. Also, I took pictures but for some reasons, I can't upload them."

I really like these boxes

"I really like these boxes but one of them came with the clasp broken. It was the bottom one, so maybe it snapped somehow under the pressure of the others. The clasp on the other side of the same box had fallen off, and I'm having a hard time snapping it back on. I can still use the box for limited purposes though. The other 5 boxes came intact as expected. They are fine and work perfectly. They are all filled, closed well, and stored as described."
