"Awesome mat! This is cute and cartoonish in appearance. Works well to keep my dog's bowls from sliding around and also to make water overflow messes easier to clean up. This is hard plastic, not rubbery at all---very firm. This is a great mat that easily fits both my dog's bowls."
"Dogs may be our floofy bundles of love, but they are also super messy. My sweet doggo is utterly incapable of getting a drink of water without making a huge mess on the hardwood floors around his bowls. This super cute mat just solved the problem. It isn't so big as to take over the area, but big enough to contain the drinking bowl fallout. I love it!"
"This is a great mat for anyone with pets. The bottom of the mat is rubberized so it doesn't move around and stays in place. Place a water bowl and a food bowl and you'll be good to go. There's not much not to like about this feeding mat. It does what it's supposed to do and really makes cleaning up easy, especially if you're going to be away from the house for a little bit. The only negative I can find is the little portion that juts out at the bottom. It doesn't serve any function that I can tell but is often in the way. My kids feed get caught on it, which shifts the whole mat."
"Our GSD is a very messy eater and by the end of her meal it looks like there was a small explosion in her bowl that blew her food everywhere. Same with when she drinks water - I swear more ends up on the floor than in her tummy. This 'Woof' Feeding Tray is a cute option to protect our hardwood floors. The conversation bubble shape and the large WOOF embossed in the center provides a bit of humor to what is a typically plain utilitarian object. The lip on this tray is high enough to contain even large water and/or kibble spills, and it cleans up quickly after spills or when it's time to wash it. Unfortunately, the shape is also problematic because the little hook shape at the bottom of the tray is constantly being tripped over by humans and pets. If we turn the tray to keep the little hook out of the path of feet or paws, the tray no longer fits snugly against the wall or sticks out too far (if the short end is put against the wall instead). I honestly didn't even consider this as a potential problem when I ordered this tray. The way our house is laid out (it was built 100+ years ago) there isn't a different way to position this tray so that it is flush against the wall and doesn't impede foot/paw traffic. Because cutting off the little hook piece would negate the tray's ability to hold spilled water, we've turned it into a tray for shoes and boots. it works great for this purpose, and where it's located we don't worry about bumping the little hook piece and splashing water everywhere or sending the tray across the room. You'd think that being for pets it would be designed to stay in place as much as possible, but this actually skids quite easily across hard, flat flooring even with the four little rubber circles used as footies on the underside of the tray. The footies are too small to be of much use. We ended up putting this on top of the grippy shelf liner material so that when the tray gets bumped it moves as little as possible. I'd have to give this 3. 5 stars with the ratings reduction coming from the trip hazard caused by the cute but poor design choice."
"Here's an example of what seems like a simple idea that results in a product that is very, very useful! I'm surprised I've never seen something like this before!I have 3 very messy cats. They can't eat anything without much of it landing on the floor, or in their water. I'm constantly cleaning the patch of floor near their food. This mat is perfect for preventing endless cleaning! It's BIG, bigger than I pictured. It easily fits our very big water bowl (that is the size of a casserole dish) and 3 or 4 dishes of food (because the cats bicker a lot as well as being messy, and I give them separate bowls a lot) So now, when they knock their wet or dry food all over the place, I can just pick this up and clean it at the end of the day, instead of washing the floor every day. It's heavy enough so it doesn't move around the floor a lot, and it's easy to keep clean. It's also pretty cute! It's funny thinking of it as what the cats would be saying to me in a speech bubble if they could talk, which I would imagine to be "Why aren't you feeding me? I don't like this food! Give me more food!" Nice product!"
"Great mat that has held up through 2 small kids that like to turn the dogs water into a water park and two dogs that occasionally like to stand on the mat and fight about their water. My favorite feature is the lip that surrounds the edge of the mat, which helps tremendously in keeping food and water contained. I've owned a number of this type of mat and I've always been disappointed by damage to my floor after water ran off the mat and ended up between the mat and the floor. This mat has completely eliminated that issue. In terms of overall quality, the mat is durable and well-constructed. Unlike other mats, the plastic is soft enough to prevent damage if the lip is stepped on. The surface of the mat cleans extremely easily with no discoloration."
"This mat is much better than I expected. It's big and it's rigid. I expected it to be like the flexible plastic mats you see in stores, but it's not. It also has little rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. I'm very impressed with this mat."
"Okay, I had two dogs, but they've since passed. I now have a stray kitten named Fritz. When I took a picture of Fritz on the Feeding Mat it reminded me of those Facebook pictures about former dog owners who now have a cat. Yes, he has a really big bed to himself, as well. My husband's dog was very messy, so if you have a messy dog, this is the mat you need. It saves your back on clean up. Fritz makes his own kind of messes so half way through the week, I pick it up, wipe it off and move on. In the past, I would have to soak the food spots on the tile then come back and clean them up. I spent more time cleaning food off the floor than actually mopping the whole floor. Mine is a medium mat which would work for a medium size dog. I wouldn't trade it, even for a Cat Sized one."
"I realize why the little caption horn is on the item, but it is kind of pointless. I have a towel on the tray to catch food/water so you can't even see the "wood" on the tray."
