"I bought the Iris Dog Airtight Elevated storage Feeder for my beagle. It was one of his Christmas present. It is convenient and doesn't take any room. The most important is that the food is under the bowls. That is a time saver for me and my boys who help with the care of the dog. To be airtight help to keep the dog away from the food. He tries to get the food from the table but his is save for just mornings and evening. I recommend this product."
"This unit is PERFECT for consolidation of my dogs feeding supplies. I put his supplement tablets inside another air tight container in with his food, and its all right there. No more bags of feed here, food bowls sliding around the floor over there with messes underneath the bowls. . . It holdsall the food and water he needs for a day and keeps it all tidy."
"This is just genius. Our 50 # Retriever mix uses it all the time. She doesn't have to bend down to eat and we can store extra food in the container below. Water stays separate from her dry food-- we leave both out all day (she's very good at self-regulating her intake). Works great for traveling as well. HIGHLY recommend."
"The "snap-tight latches" do not snap tight at all. They serve no real purpose that I can tell. I'm hoping it's sealed enough just from the weight of the top. IRIS USA makes you pay for return shipping on defective product. UPDATE: Due to mostly miscommunication I was finally sent a new one that did snap tight and they did eventually send me a free return shipping label."
"So this is my review of the IRIS Small Elevated Feeder with Airtight Food Storage. I needed to get one of these feeders for my little dog Dirt. He just recently got hurt and injured his spine and leg really bad. The Vet said that we would need to get Steps and a raised feeding bowl for him right away. So I saw this one and I liked the reviews from other people and figured I would give this one a try. The first thing I must say is this shipped the next day! Thank you! We were in need of a quick fix! This is a really well made feeder folks! I got the 9 inch raised one . It is perfect for my little dog. You have a storage area under this that you can fill with your dogs dry food and even place can food in. Love that feature. There are locking handles on the side to make a air tight seal. You have 2 good sized bowls, made of Stainless steel, that are removeable to fill and clean. Nice little Rubber feet on the bottom so it does not move around on the floor. My little dog took to this right away and he no longer will have to deal with neck strain when eating. We are very happy with this purchase and I would highly Reccomend this product. This company offers 3 different sizes to choose from and 2 different colors. We got the Grey one. I also liked the fact that this did not have a strong odor of plastic to it either."
"Yes, i bought this for CATS. I bought this to keep my cats from trying to access the mother load of cat food from the 15lb bag - which apparently holds more flavorful kibbles. In a humid environment, the air tight seal is an appreciated feature. I wish the design would better pair with the sizes of those store-bought bags better. My 15lb food bag is a little too much for the 13lb storage capacity. All 3 cats took to this elevated feeder bowl instantly; the medium + large cats comfortably eat from it without having to crouch down while the littlest one prefers it too. They all ignore their old bowl on the floor. If you have a cat who likes to sit + use a paw to scoop a bite at a time, they will like this easier to reach bowl too (plz tell me I am not the only one with such a cat!). The wide platform feeding area perhaps allows for a whisker-fatigue-free zone. They say it's a thing."
"Bought this for a dog I recently adopted. Both my dogs, a boxer and a pug/beagle mix, use this and it fits them well. It's really handy to have the food right where their bowls are. The only thing I don't like is having to completely remove the top get to the food. This can be really tricky if there is water in the bowl. It's great otherwise."
