"This mat is great! It's more like a hard tray- very durable. The 28"x14. 5" is a perfect size for large bowls or multiple bowls. The raised edge contains any water spillage. I've used silicone mats in the past, and no matter how clean or dry you keep them black mold tends to get into the surface and stains them."
