I like the hinged back with snapping clasp in the front so it's easy to open he container with one hand and scoop with the other hand, and then easily snap shut with the first hand. I used to keep my dogwood on slide out drawers in new kitchen cabinets. Then the mice found the food. Yuck. Traces of mice have not been found since the food went in these containers, and they fit on my pull out shelves."

"Fits up to 40 cups of my dogs food. 2 minor complaints:1. While the handle locks in place, it does not clasp tightly and when I move it I am afraid I will knock it open and spill the dog food. 2. I'm not sure if the one I received is air tight. My dog always goes over to smell it when I pull it out as we rotate through the food storage. He goes through a 35 pound bag of food in about three weeks, so I'm not too worried at this time as it is rotated quickly, but I did want to note it for other purchasers who may plan for longer storage of items."
