"These are the Ferrari’s of the plastic storage business. Heavy duty plastic. I put two pounds of items in a 6” container and it handles it no problem. The latches automatically latch due to the angle of them. I doubt they would stay closed if this dropped, but I can almost guarantee they won’t break off. I’m going to be buying the next size up for a different purpose. I’ve bought Iris USA items before and I can tell you that there are higher and lower quality items. This series of storage containers are high quality and the ones you want. The quality for price is well worth it. Amazing value, especially being Made in USA. The only other storage I’ve been this impressed with is sold by Artbin, but the items were much more expensive."

Hinges a little weak

"One of the hinges broke after unboxing. I opened one of the boxes and it broke right off. The hinge area could use a little beefing up."

"These containers are wonderful for storage, organizing, keeping a project corralled. I've used them for craft tool storage, sewing notions, quilting project components and for organizing tiered rolling carts. This eight-pack is an incredible deal. It’s cheap. Was worried about

"It’s cheap. Was worried about the flimsy closure, wanted more storage bins for origami paper. These aren’t my fave, but since they were so cheap, I have used them to send gifts of small things that I didn’t want broken and taped the outside to ensure it wouldn’t open and then pack it up in the box. So…. They are still serving a purpose and the price was great"

I ordered these to put

"I ordered these to put 6. 5" quilt blocks in & they did not fit. I realize it says for 6x6 scrapbook paper, but since the dimensions are listed at 7. 72"L x 8. 19"W x 2. 50"H, I figured there was ample room, just being marketed for 6x6 scrapbook paper. When I started looking for another container to order since these didn't work, I noticed that some list the inside dimensions also, which is super helpful. These appear to be nice containers, there just was not as much space inside as one might think by the outside measurements."
