"I am I was very hesitant to order this product because they were so many reviews that said that they were received damaged, cracked etc. They were also reviews that said that they found them to be flimsy and that the latches don’t click shut. Here are my thoughts about the product…I ordered these to store holiday items in my basement. I wanted something that was clear/see-through so that I could see what was in them without opening them and I wanted something that was tall enough and wide enough to accommodate everything comfortably. I searched all over the Internet and found many storage totes that were the length and width that I needed but very few that were tall enough and still see-through. This was one of the only ones I found, which is why I decided to take a chance and order them. I received eight of them and not a single one was cracked or damaged. I find them to be very sturdy for my uses and not flimsy at all. Some of the latches click properly shut and others do not but since I am storing these stacking them and they’re not gonna be exposed to wind or anything else, I have no problem with that. The lids still close tightly even if they don’t latch perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase but I will say that they are definitely overpriced. But being that there are not a lot of taller clear storage containers to be found, for me, it was worth it."
