"The gate keeps my dogs in. But it doesn't stop my 19 month old. He can climb it but also he can just shove it over with ease. It's very easy to put up, and even easier to take down by accident. It works wonderfully at the top of our stairs though. It keeps the dogs out; the baby is not at the top of the stairs. That would be extremely unsafe."
"I saw some reviews saying cheap gates, poorly made etc. . honestly I am not sure what they were trying to use these for, but for my 8 week old beagle pup that I want to contain in my laminate floor area room until we get him fully puppy trained, chewing, potty trained etc. I find these gates to be quite functional. I loved 💕 the price, the ease of installing them into each door way, so much that after purchasing two, I bought two more. An FYI I bought the last two as used, as good as new. They were, and paid almost $12 each less for them, I can’t tell the difference between the ones supposed to be new and ones that were supposed to have been used. Except the used ones came with instructions and the new ones did not."
"This is the easiest door gate I have ever had! Easily deploys inside a door jam and securely tightens without that flimsy flex you get from some gates. Very much a 5 star gate. I think the low ratings may be people overtightening the unit as that will break these units."

"I was not confident that this gate would really work and be strong enough to keep my jumping puppy confined, but it is! I held back one star because while it is light weight and easy to move, it will only fit snugly in a doorway that is flat from top-to-bottom: i. e. , if you have molding at the bottom, it won't be snug. That being said, I have been able to make it snug enough even for those doorways by wedging in some scrap wood. My other negative is that while I can smoothly slide the gate apart to fit a doorway, it doesn't smoothly slide back together to quickly fit a narrower doorway--I have to wrestle with it a bit. Nonetheless, it is working fantastically for me, and I may likely buy another so I don't have to keep collapsing it and moving it from doorway to doorway."
