"These shallow, wide cases are great for storing a small amount of papers that are larger than letter size. I'm using them for somewhat fragile documents - items I don't want stacked up in a deeper/taller case. I really like Iris products, but they are a real pain to buy through IRIS. I've bought many shapes and sizes, from these very thin cases, to large waterproof storage boxes. Nearly every order arrives damaged. The only reason I keep ordering from IRIS is the exact Iris cases I want are not readily available elsewhere."
There never seemed to be
"There never seemed to be a way to store 12x12 paper. Found these as a warehouse deal at a great price and they will work well. No damage and quick delivery. Very pleased. However they do not click shut. Not an issue for me as I stack them but for other uses???"
I was really upset initially
"I was really upset initially because none of my boxes would close. After inspecting them at length, I decided to take the chance and force the lid to bend 90 degrees. It feels like you are breaking it. Then they work. I feel this should be stated somewhere. I was going to have to return them but thankfully figured it out. I was also not aware that these were so shallow. My fault for not reading carefully. I didn't know there were two different depths."
