"This was OK. It is made of nice sturdy material and a wonderful water proof backing. The edges were finished nicely with no skips or misses. It is also pretty durable. A cherished toy got left on the seat and the dog went nuts trying to "unbury" it, and it helped up with no holes. I didnt really care for the lip on the edges which seemed to always catch a paw when getting out and made it a little harder to sweep out. It was very easy to install but didnt quite "fit" right. (Buick Century)."

I think this is an
"I think this is an awesome idea, and it's well made. I didn't have a hammock or anything similar for the dog to ride in our car, just one of his blankets, which I would shake off to clean, or wash when needed. This is much more better, and also more easy to clean. The waterproof side it's a bonus, because it would protect the car seats too. The top of the hammock is made from a material similar to that used on outside furniture covers, which is sturdy and long lasting, but it can get hot, and we need to keep an eye on that. On summer days, the best way to deal with this, it's to take the hammock inside, and only put it on the car when the dog is riding with us. It's not big deal, because it's easy to set and remove."

This is one of those
"This is one of those things that is going to really, REALLY vary depending on not just the car, but the driver. Since this goes around the headrest on the seats, for my car (2017 Mazda CX-5) it fits. I'm over 6 feet tall, my seat is as far back as it can go, and tilted back to boot. So that makes it MUCH easier to reach the rear seats and have this flat on the back seat. But for someone that's short, has the front seat not just slid forward, but tilted up more vertically, then it doesn't matter what vehicle you're in, it's going to cause issues. Other than that, it's well constructed, I have no fears of a claw ripping or tearing it, and failing all else, even if it won't work well due to the size of the driver or the vehicle, you can always set it flat as a blanket if needed. . . The grey one here is considerably cheaper than the tan one, so this really is a good deal."

This animal hammock seat cover
"This animal hammock seat cover is very sturdy and well made from durable materials. It arrives with a slight odor that dissipates in a couple of hours just exposed to the air. This is sort of slippery for the dogs. My older puppy completely flipped out having to walk on this but the younger one was fine. Water beads up on this material. It is definitely thick enough to protect your vehicle's back seat."

This seat cover worked so
"This seat cover worked so perfectly and easily for our first time using a protective cover like this (I've previously only used sheets or blankets). The back seat of our SUV (GMC Terrain) slides up to make the trunk space bigger, so that has always worked out better for the dogs, so they don't have access to the floor. This seat cover took so much less time to prepare than a sheet. We just unfolded it and slipped the straps around the headrests. Because the backseat was pulled forward, the seat cover rested squarely over the entire seat without creating a "hammock. " The pups could walk around like normal, but were confined better to the protected backseat. This will make car trips so much easier!The dogs typically drool on a car ride (either from nausea or excitement), and we could see it beaded up on the seat cover, showing that the cover is water resistant. Additionally, there's a plastic coating underneath to prevent any leakage from getting through to the seat. It's very well-designed for dog owners."

This was pretty nice to
"This was pretty nice to use and kept my husbands seats from getting dirty and hairy. I wanted to use this in the van but it wouldn't work, it was too short but the car worked fine and my girl sat in it comfortable and even fell asleep. It was a little funny watching her try to get out of it when we arrived but she managed ok and I like using this instead of her being directly on the seat."

This does not work in
"This does not work in a 2nd row minivan but does in the 3rd if you have captain seats. My dog however, does not like it one bit. I think if you train your dog at a young age, this will work well. Mine prefers the actual seat which stinks becuase this is a nice option to have to get a dog's nails off of leather seats. The price is extremely reasonable and the hammock is very well made. We donated it to the animal shelter transport team and they were very appreciative of it and said they work great."

The Iris Animal Hammock Seat
"The Iris Animal Hammock Seat Cover is an ok product. When I first used it my dog laid in it for a while. She soon got bored and started jumping around and pushed it aside. It then became a game with her to jump on it and jump off it. I see the merits of this product but I think the function depends on the individual dog."
