"This storage container is airtight and great for many things. It has a lock handle and It came in handy for my son's train layout's Woodlands Scenic greenery. He uses it to decorate different places on his layout. Even though our basement is damp the greenery stays nice and dry in this container. Great container that can be used for multiple things."
"I have a bigger version with wheels for my dog food and it has been great! I got this smaller version for my cat food (she doesn't eat quite as much!) It is perfectly airtight and easy to close and open. The plastic is durable and will last outdoors. I keep it in the garage so I don't know how sunlight would affect it but feed should be kept in a cool dry place at any rate. Remington consistently makes quality products that we will continue to use. Highly recommend!"
"We always buy dry Acana brand dog food in 28 pound bags for our Miniature Schnauzer. We bought two of these containers for the following reasons:(1) I always feel that by the end of the 28 pound bag, with it just sitting in the cupboard, the flavor is gone,(2) our large dog food bag just sat in the front of the up board because it didn't fit under any of the shelves, and(3) we saw a cockroach in the Kitchen and decided to make everything airtight to prevent a problem. I'm happy to report that these containers work really well, and seem very solid and durable. My 28 lb dog food bag fits almost in two of these guys (with some left over in a gallon ziplock). Additionally, for us, they fit right under the lowest shelf in the cupboard, and are a big room saver. And the food still smells fresh, without stinking up our cabinet!"
"I am generally happy with the two containers I purchased. They do not stack as securely as I would like, but the cats have not knocked them over yet. The containers keep the cat food much fresher than the bag and are much easier to use. One downside is that the 10 pound container is too large for the bags of kitten food (holds 2 bags of ~7. 5 lb each), but too small for the 16 lb bags of adult cat food (hold about 2/3 of the bag). A container of nominal 15 lb size would be really nice for the adult food."
"We originally bought this to store dog food but then realized it almost perfectly fits one large bag of rice (the kind you buy at Asian supermarkets). We love that it’s easy to store in our pantry and see what level the rice is at in case we need to purchase more."

"Works for me. I bought this for dog food. I have 2 small dogs and I buy the 12 pound small kibble for small dogs and this holds the entire 12 pounds, which comes to the very top of the container. Keeps the dog food fresh and easy to get a scoop of dog food out of the container each day. I have it sitting in a kitchen cabinet with 3 months worth of the dogs rice and canned chicken as well as treats and their dishes and there is still room in the cabinet. It fits perfectly in front of the upper partial shelf that is in the cabinet, which is a standard cabinet if anyone is wanting to put this in a lower cabinet. Great price for a well made product that fits my needs perfectly."

"We use this to store dog food at the cabin. We know that we get the occasional mouse there and this has done an excellent job of keeping the mice out of the food. It also seems to do a good job of keeping it fresh for multiple weeks. I like the fact that it is fairly square so packing it in a vehicle or storing in a cabinet doesn't leave you with a bunch of unusable space like a bucket does."
"We use this smaller pet food storage bin for our cat's dry food. It's the perfect size! The lid snaps closed tightly so I feel that the food is kept fresh. It can store a 12 quart bag of dry food and fits nicely on our pantry floor under bottom shelf."
