"I got this because my family has a leprechaun running around. I figured I could fill it with cabbage and some sugar peas to attract our house guest. The lid was held up by a stick, which I learned from watching a lot of Road Runner cartoons. The first night we awoke the to trap being sprung, but no leprechaun. The same the second night. The third night - we awoke to rotten cabbage. I was ready to return the product at this point. I ended up reading what the container was designed for - Pet food storage. I boiled water and cleaned out the container. I let it dry. I have attached the included wheels and have filled it up with pet food. The puppies are excited that they have fresh food every day. Now if they could only get their squirrel traps to catch that pesky squirrel that taunts them outside."

This container is almost exactly

"This container is almost exactly what I was looking for in a storage bin. It is very effective at keeping the kibble fresh and pest free. It rolls easily although rolling wasn't a feature I needed. The lid snaps shut nicely and opens just as easily. My dog is a little fussy but he doesn't complain anymore when we get toward the bottom of the bag. This size container BARELY holds a 24 lb bag of average size kibble. I usually buy a 17 lb bag unless the larger one is on sale so this isn't usually a problem but just be aware that the container needs to be completely empty to hold the larger size bag."

Perfect for cat food

"I've always struggled with the bag of cat food and where to put it once it's opened. This was the perfect solution. I keep a smaller container in the kitchen to feed the cats, and this container goes in the basement. I love the Iris brand."

"Easy to move around - big plus when full because my little sis has a hard time with heavy items. So this makes her life easy & ensures no spills. It's very sturdy & seals with the lid great. Main idea here was to eliminate the bag. Bags of animal food don't seal perfectly. Even with the ziplock-esque installments. No one wants ants or other critters making a meal of our pet's food!"
