"The IRIS premium airtight pet food container meets my storage needs. We live on a farm and have always kept the dogfood outside. This container is a perfect solution- no more spills leaks broken bags. The 55-quart container holds a 45-pound bag of dogfood. The snap lock is a bonus but I do not use it all the time. The container is durable and functional for everyday use. I recommend the premium pet food container for anyone with a large dog and dog food storage needs. I ordered an additional one for our kitty litter."

UPDATE: the casters/wheels just slide
"UPDATE: the casters/wheels just slide in, not snap in, so when there is little weight on them, like when the dog chow in it is about gone, the wheels fall out whenever you move it. Fixed that by turning the container upside down and using a dab of superglue gel in each caster/wheel hole, then inserting each caster/wheel. They stay attached now, and still roll and swivel like new. This container will hold a full 38 Pound Bag of Purina Pro Dog Food. Just barely, but full bag fits in it. Folks say it is better to keep the dog chow in its original bag and avoid just pouring it into a plastic bin. OK with me and avoids having bits of dog chow dust/pieces in the bin to have to clean out."

This is a good product
"This is a good product and seems to keep my dog food fresh. I cannot judge since I have a small dog and this is a HUGE container that I purchased before I realized the dog food should be used up within 3 months of opening. Since I have a small dog, I'm not able to purchase a 40lb bag of dog food to fill the container and have my dog eat all the contents within 3 months. I'm wondering if this container has a good enough seal that I could buy a larger bag of dog food and it would keep it fresh. I guess I will test that out and provide an update once my dog reaches adulthood and they made the adult food in larger bags. The casters also work really well. I have it in a closet and I roll it out to fill a smaller container that is in my kitchen. The have not fallen off and it doesn't get caught in my carpet but rolls out smoothly."

Generally a really good pet
"Generally a really good pet food container. I did not put the wheels on it because I don't need it to be movable so easily. HOWEVER, the latch that is supposed to keep the lid on tightly arrived broken. As you can see from the photographs, it is supposed to have tabs on both sides. However, it only has one tab. It looks like either a manufacturing defect or the tab broke off. So, it cannot be used. I tried to figure out how to notify the IRIS Seller but my only options were to return it. I did not want to go through that hassle. ****** If I could get a replacement latch I would increase the rating to five stars*******UPDATE: I received absolutely amazing customer service from simply contacting Iris directly. New latch and I found out there is a lifetime warranty and replacement on latches! I can't say enough good things about the prompt, customer oriented treatment I received. Thank you Bev at Iris!!!!"

I just got a new
"I just got a new big baby! He's a large breed puppy! He eats 3 times a day and we go through food like crazy! This container holds so much food! I can fit 2 big bags of his puppy food in here! With room to spare! Rolls like there's nothing but feathers in it. Latches and stays shut! Food stays fresh! And did I mention how much easier my life is just from a container! Oh this is definitely worth the buy!"

For the price this container
"For the price this container serves our needs for cheap cat food. Would I put my highly expensive grain-free dog food in it? NO. It’s not really airtight. If you apply a little pressure to the sides the lid lifts. Plastic is thin. Wheels work well. If you need completely airtight look elsewhere. If you need a covered container with wheels and don’t want to spend a lot this works."

I needed a second airtight
"I needed a second airtight container for dog food when we adopted a second dog and they eat different food. Also needed a sneak proof container for the little food thief. The size is just a bit large for my space (it does hold a large bag), but it’s working. The best feature is the wheels that allow me to roll it out of the way when needed."

I have a small one
"I have a small one for my cat food but didn't purchase it from IRIS. My new one for my dog food I just purchased from IRIS and its awesome! It's extremely air tight. Locks great which will keep nosey fur babies from getting into it. Wheels were a breeze to put into holes on bottom also."

"I have 2 I have these already and they are perfect which is why I’m buying a third. This one arrived and they let it is not in alignment properly and falls off every time. Returning something is not worth the hassle to me so I’m just out the money!However 2 out of the are great!"

"Everything is good, it’s just not airtight as advertised 🤷🏽:female_sign: and it’s not as tall/skinny as it may seem in photos hahaha the proportions are just right. I got the black one. And I would suggest getting the black one so that your dog’s food doesn’t go bad as fast from sunlight."
