Chili Con Carne

1 lbs Ground beef
1 (15oz.) Canned pinto beans
1 Canned diced tomato
3 oz. Tomato sauce
1 Bell pepper
½ cup Beef broth
1 Chili pepper
1 tbsp Chilli powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
To get started, you'll need
From the main menu, select ‘Manual Cook’ and then choose ‘Sear/Saute’. Set the heat level to level 3.
Add the ground beef and brown it for about 5-7 minutes.
While the beef is browning, finely chop the bell pepper, onion, and chilli pepper.
Once the beef is browned, add the chopped vegetables to the pressure cooker and sauté for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
Add the canned diced tomato, tomato sauce, beef broth, chilli powder, and a little bit of salt and pepper to the pressure cooker. Stir everything together to combine.
Drain and rinse the pinto beans, then add them to the pressure cooker. Stir everything together again.
From the main menu, select 'Auto Cook' and select 'Chili Con Carne' from the recipe presets. Press 'Ok' to start.
Securely attach lid and set the pressure release valve to 'SEAL' Press 'Ok' to start.
Once cook time has finished, ensure that the float valve has fully descended, then turn the pressure release valve to 'VENT'. Confirm that all steam has released from the valve before opening the lid.
Serve the chilli con carne hot, over rice or with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
