I'm using this as a
"I'm using this as a place for storage baskets that took up too much space on my desk and my laptop sits on top (it's connected to my desk monitor) The assembly was easy to do and it was packed so it didn't get damaged. It also matched the other cabinets in my office. I would recommend it to others."

I wanted the rectangular, on
"I wanted the rectangular, on the long side, low shape, which is great. The black is the right shade that I needed, and it holds about 18 lbs. of dumbbells, along with a small workout book and workout journal. So far, so good. But, you should have Arnold Schwarzenegger (sp?) to put it together. As with so much Chinese engineering today, the sides were made in one factory, top and bottom in another, screws in yet another; and nobody will share measurements. The screw holes were not drilled deep enough, and the screws have flat ends, not points. The holes don’t line up properly anyway! The screw hole covers have to be hammered in, with E6000 holding them in place, because they pop back out. Now that it’s done, in place, I'm happy, but I won’t buy another."

It worked perfectly for me!
"It worked perfectly for me! I got it since I had nowhere to store my paper, stapler, hole punch, etc. on my desk, but also to use as a stand for my computer screen. If I were actually sitting in a chair at my desk it would be to tall for my screen though. In my case it works perfectly since I can lay in my bed and watch shows comfortably."

I have several of these
"I have several of these now. They aren't very big, they are more of an organizer than a stand alone shelf, I can understand why the pictures might not be very clear on that. I have shelving all around my den, but still ended up with piles of crap on the shelves, so I've been using these to organize them further. Assembly can be a bit fiddly to get started, I recommend a drill driver, and getting the first screw in can be pretty tricky, but after that it goes together really easily. It is entirely possible I'll get some more. . ."

Great item
"The space between the shelves is great 4 inches. You can also purchase more & they stack nicely. They are heavy so I couldn't put it on top of plastic draw rolling cart. Would recommend."

I have those plastic teacher
"I have those plastic teacher trays from Lakeshore (10x14x3”) and have not been able to find a rack for them. Whyyyyy?!? I saw another reviewer who used for the same trays but had to drill holes to adjust because the shelves are not three equal measurements. If you are doing the same, these are the measurements I used… from the top of the side pieces (with holes), measure down and mark at 4-3/8” and 8-1/4”. I don’t recall which size drill bit was used but it was bigger than one and smaller than the next size so it needs a little wiggling. Hope this helps!"

Very solid performance!
"The back panels on shelves like these are usually cardboard. This one is not; it's a pressboard and solid. The shelves are easy to assemble and look great once in use. I used mine as a rack for my DVD player, Blueray player, and cable box."

Well made and easy to
"Well made and easy to construct. One tool (screwdriver) was all it took. Easily stacks (I went with two high). Believe this will last much better than cardboard versions. Cost was a big determining factor (I picked a lower cost color choice). Don't know how color has anything to do with price, but worked for me."

Pretty good product so far.
"Pretty good product so far. I just got it today. It was easy to assemble. You will need a Phillips screwdriver. I used a drill type screwdriver. Works for what I need it for, not to big and not to small. I use my desk for work and school so it was getting very crowded and disorganized. This shelf allows me to organize my school items and they are at eye level so I don’t have to dig for anything. We will see how it will hold up over time but it seems sturdy. I would definitely recommend if you have a large size desk that is in need of some organization."

Simple but look good. A
"Simple but look good. A lithely funky to assemble the spiral front screw (which I eventually did not and just used their glue) but they look good and provided the storage I wanted . Purchased the shelves version and the drawers version. Totally worth it!"
