"I bought one, really liked it, and bought another. About 30 minute set up time. It fits hardcover books laying down perfectly which is really hype. I would be a little worried about it being bumped into and tipping over. I don't have kids or dogs so it's fine for me, but still something to consider. *that is a cat toy in picture* There's no labels on the pieces so it was a little hard to distinguish the two sides but as you do step one, you'll easily figure out which one is which because only one works for the diagram. Kind of nice not having to pick off the label stickers and clean sticky residue. You can change the height of the shelves but it would be a little bit of work. If you think you'll do that frequently, a different shelf may be better. Overall a really nice looking, cheap, easy to put together shelves."

"I purchased this for a small area to raise my modem up off the floor. I wanted something of specific dimensions, that looked nice, but was inexpensive. These shelves are perfect. It looks great, fits perfect, and the shelf height is practical. I would buy this again."

I had a small area
"I had a small area along my refrigerator and pantry wall that was 8. 5 inches wide. I bought two of these and screwed them together. Then I purchased balsa wood and dark walnut wood grain stick wallpaper (self adhesive), also from IRIS and placed them on the back of each opening to give it a solid finish look. Everyone thinks it's a built in shelf"

I bought a new dining
"I bought a new dining room set, I always had a narrow shelf diagonal in the corner for a plant, I needed something narrow to put in that spot as my other side shelf was a lighter wood & I needed darker wood to match the new table. This was perfect. I put my plant on the top shelf, and a candle, a decorative sea shell on the others. It has sort of a farm house look too it. If your not looking for anything too fancy, I’d recommend this."

Pretty great for the amount
"Pretty great for the amount of money spent. Pretty sturdy and not hard to put together at all. Actually does hold a decent amount and it’s ability to fit into a narrow area is nice too. A good look overall. The only issue I have with the shelf is that there are no backs really behind each opening so if you stack hand towels in them, they could fall behind. Still a great buy."
