"This litter box is really great! It is very spacious and has more than enough room for a very large cat to maneuver around in. The door/entry flap works really well and makes it super easy to clean. The included scoop works very well and allows you to scoop the waste easily. It's one of the best litter boxes we've owned."
"The doggy door style is very convenient for wanting a covered litter box. The litter box itself is also huge which is convenient for multiple cats. The scoop it comes with is small and unreliable when it comes to actually scooping the litter, however for a larger litter box with a lid this one is great especially for the price."
"This was bigger than I expected. The door gets stuck and my cat has a hard time getting out of it sometimes. I don’t think I would buy this again because of the door getting stuck. Positive side though, it does keep the litter inside for the most part, other than what gets stuck to her paws."
"I really like this litter box. We got it for a three cat household for the upstairs bathroom (they have three other open top litter boxes), and it's definitely my favorite one!Pros-Can't see or really smell the cats' waste, easy for the cats to get in and out, LOVE having the scoop clipped to the top for easy access, easy to clean, and contains most of the litterCons-When we first got the litter box it smelled odd; there was definitely a STRONG plasticy smell. A few days into it, it aired out and is fine. The x large box seems a bit flimsy, so I hold the bottom while I'm moving it around just in case."
"It is a great for the price. The cover is flexible, I thought it wouldn't stand up to removal twice a day but it's strong. The only issue I have is with the door. I like to use liners and the door sticks making it hard to open when cat is inside. I keep it open and I probably wood anyway so as not the have my fur baby breathe in the dust or feel confined. I only had it for 2 weeks so far satisfied."
"This is the perfect litter box for the new kitty. We discovered that he likes to “go” at the edge of the box! So the small sided box I bought first, he would go over the edge. This box has high sides that prevent the kitten from going over the side. The cover is high enough for him. I do not have the flap installed. I’ve had other cats that do not like that."
"My two cats (adopted 6 months ago) were making a mess, flinging litter. Constant clean-up! This litter box seems to have resolved 90% of the issue! It is sturdy, deep sides helps A LOT, and covered with height for larger cat is definitely a plus! The drawback? The swinging door - swings in easily when they enter, but catches slightly when they push to exit. I still like it because I can lift just that portion and it folds flat nicely on top, and most of the issue of flung litter is still resolved. They should redesign so the swing is not so tight against the sides, because if that is a 'need', it would work - and you would get what you paid for! Plastic molding is very sturdy so it should hold up for a very, very long time. My larger cat is 15 lbs, and tall and long, but still uses this happily, however, anyone with a Maine Coon cat - this would not be a height option for you."
"Came really fast in the mail. Cat didn’t use it yet but is curious. I just switched litter from old box to this one so he would recognize it as his. Nice design. Fits nice in the litter box area. Hopefully doesn’t break or crack anytime soon. Edit: Its been over a year and still in great condition. The door stopped swinging so I just took it off because the cat kept getting stuck inside. No complaints other than that. It still does its job. I'll rate 4 stars."
"I recently bought this large, covered cat litter box because when I am having work done in the house, I wanted to have a covered box available upstairs, so that I don't have to carry their boxes up from the basement, 2 floors down. This way, I can set this box up in a closed bedroom and they can have access without being terrified by workmen clomping up and down the stairs. One of my cats is a big guy with a penchant for vigorously hurling litter everywhere, so the covered boxes help to contain the litter chaos. They both do fine with covered boxes - and this one works. The only minor quibble is that the scoop that came with the box has such a short handle, I would never use it to clean the box. If the scoop had another 4-5 inches on the handle, it would be fine and safer for humans to use - but I tossed this one in the trash."
"The lock feature seems to work well. The handle seems sturdy. It’s plenty large enough for my young adult cat and would be plenty room for a kitten as well. My only dislike about it is that the swing door doesn’t stay latched very well. When we are ready to clean it, it easily slips off, this isn’t a deal breaker I just wish the swing door were able to fasten on more securely."
