"nice size, nice sealed lid. lightweight construction. handle totally broke from an 8 inch fall, unfilled/empty. I would expect the hinge to unclouple and become unsteady in 6 months. For gods sake if you're going to make something in plastic, make it rugged. This unit was almost 1/2 the weight of the rubbermaid it was replacing. We had that vessel for 6 years. . . ."

"Seals tightly! I like that it is a more vertical shape and fits easily in the tiny pantry closet we have. Fits a whole 12 lb bag of cat food too. I live in the SW and we have those tiny sugar ants in the summer. They are in every house no matter what. They have not been able to get into this! And it's so affordable. Great product. Would strongly recommend."
"Yes! This is a life saver. The cat cannot smell its food through this thing's walls. That matters because the cat destroys everything between it and its food. It is a little ugly but I hide it in a corner. But I am not hiding it from the cat, who sits next to it all the time and never suspects!"

"I ordered four and 2/4 arrived with broken lid latches. The prongs that hold the clasp onto the lid were snapped off. I ended up fixing them by drilling holes and using small screws in their place which is fine and more sturdy, but any cushion at all could've prevented this. They were loose in a large box and obviously damaged in transit. Containers themselves are great though!"
"I have an awful sense of scale and depth perception, and even when given product measurements, it can be really difficult for me to understand the size of something before it arrives. That alone made me a little nervous to get this product, and I spent more time scouring reviews to see how other people's food fit befor deciding to give it a shot. Opening it, it still looked smaller than I imagined, and I was briefly worried there was no way my dog food would fit, but it did! This little thing holds a 10lb bag of Royal Canin food perfectly. Granted, I buy Chihuahua specific food, so the kibbles are fairly small. I'm not sure if kibble scale effects the fit if the weight is the same, but the little bites fit perfectly with room to spare on top for our scoop. The black color looks great in the room, and the lid has a nice lock on it. It feels pretty sturdy overall, and I'm glad to have it since the large bag of food didn't reseal the way I would have preferred compared to smaller bags. Recommend!"
"Living in Florida we had a recent encounter with ants! The bin I had prior wasn't ant tight. Those little B's can get into anything. Had the house and perimeter treated and decided to get a insect proof food bin. . . . Hope I don't have to test it but if so. . . . I hope it works!"
"They hold a 10# bag of dog food quite easily. I cut the label off and slid it down the inside so I'd remember what flavor was in there. Very easy to use. Glad I went with the one without wheels so I wouldn't have to sweep under it like I did with the last one by another company. This is great. We've had it for 4 mos and open it twice daily, I leave the small scoop in it and its easy to fill and very airtight. We get compliments on it by all our guests! One friend is a baker and keeps her baking sugar in one and different types of flour in others. Too bad we can't get credit for referrals!!"
"Well, I don’t use this for pets but birds. My wife brought me birdseed one day. So I started feeding the birds, and now I feed the birds. So they need a thing to hold the food, this works well and has a good seal around it to keep the moisture out."
