"This food storage container is working perfectly for us! We needed to start purchasing a 30lb bag of kibble and our current container at the time (simple human for $120) wasn’t going to work and we were tired of spending a huge amount on this! That’s where I found IRIS USA! The containers durability is fantastic and it holds our 30lb bag of food perfectly, and I do not dump the food inside so this container is actually able to fit the entire BAG comfortably!"
"This is the 2nd one I’ve bought. I was going to return this one because for some reason the plastic bag that covered it had melted across the top. But I couldn’t find a box big enough for it so I didn’t get it returned. Now I have to use Goo B Gone to delicately remove this stuck on plastic. I do really like this container because it’s narrow and I can put a 34 pound bag of dog food in it and it stays fresh. I also don’t have to worry about bugs getting into it. The lid snaps and locks good."
"We actually have purchased two of these. The first was for our dogs food. It fit exactly where we needed it to Mama and worked so well we decided to get one for my mother's dog. It keeps the food fresh and is a lot more convenient than having a bag in the wayI'm not sure how long the rollers would last if you use them much, but in both of our cases, the food container stays stationary. You will notice a plastic smell when you open it, a quick scrub down and air out and it seems to no longer be as pungent. None of our pooches have lodged any written complaints, anyways. In summary, good product. Will buy another one for our daughters dog"
"This is a good size bin that holds a large Costco-size bag of dog food. It seems to keep the food fresh with the airtight lid. The handle is easy to open - too easy if you have a pup like mine who can bump his nose under it and open it without a problem. The lid was hard to attach at first - thought it was warped, but my husband was able to force it on and it seemed to fix itself. That said, the lid doesn't stay open which is really annoying. Hard to scoop out food, while holding the dish the scoop is going into and holding the lid open."
"I had owned one of these containers several years ago when I had several pet dogs to care for. It is so very much better that having the open bag around. It is airtight so keeps the dry food fresher. It prevents bugs or other nuisances from getting in the food. The casters make it easy to move and it even came with a spare caster in case one is damaged in use. They just pop in with no tools required. Excellent design."
"I use this container to house the dog food. I used to have a big bag with a zip lock top that I kept the dog food in, but it bit the dust. I wanted a container that sealed, but was slim enough to not take up too much space. This one fit the bill. I am able to put a 15lb bag of dog food inside this container. I don't even dump the food out. I just put the whole bag in, cut off the top of the bag and I'm ready to go. It comes with wheels that can attach to the bottom. I keep the container in a chair so I don't use them. Absolutely one of the best purchased I've made!"
"I like this container a lot. It’s big enough to hold a 35 pound bag of dog food but slender enough to fit inside a closet. . The smell of dog food makes me dry heave a little bit but when the lid is closed on this, you smell nothing. The wheels are also fantastic, I have no desire to lug this around, the wheels make it very easy to move from place to place as needed. The only thing I would change would be to make it so the lid will stay open - it’s tricky to fill this by myself while trying to hold the lid open and handle a 35 lb bag of dog dood."
"This worked out great for our dog food needs. Guys a 30 lb bag perfectly. It’s slim enough to fit in a cabinet. About the size of a regular kitchen trash can. Wheels are a little cheap and have fallen off a few times, but they pop back in and we don’t really move it around much. Good purchase for the purpose."
"We were able to change from buy 7lb bags every two weeks to buying a 16 lb bag ever month and a half. We didn’t have a good place for a bag where our cats wouldn’t think they could feast on the whole bag until we bought this container. The wheels are a little small which makes maneuverability a little difficult but it’s does glad on our floors without scratching them. It fits perfectly in our pantry. We’ve had no complaints from the cats about freshness of the food so everything works perfectly for our house."
"Have bought this same model in the past and it lasted for years. Use it for dog food. Dogs can't get in it. The only reason we ordered a new one was one of the casters broke, after at least 10 years of very heavy use. Our only complaint about this new one is Iris seems to have changed the casters they put on it. Not as sturdy. They aren't as big. Don't roll as well as the old ones. Probably won't last 1 year the way we use it. We won't buy again if they don't fix this."
