"This is a simple 2 shelf bookcase that is the easiest to put together of any I have ever used (and I have used a lot over the years). The directions are sparse but unless you get lost going from your garage into your house, you shouldn't have any trouble with this unit. All the parts were there (note that the two shelf version does not come with a wall anchor, nor is one needed), and the screw holes lined up perfectly. Assembly took maybe 4 minutes using a cordless drill to drive the screws though a regular screwdriver would have been fine too. I didn't see a weight limit listed but it seems sturdy enough to hold up to any reasonable load (somewhere between a sheet of paper and an elephant training platform depending on how you view things- I'd say 20-30 pounds per shelf but I also aim the cap away from my face when opening soda so do with that what you will)."

I bought these shelves (2-tier)
"I bought these shelves (2-tier) for the bathroom since there wasn't enough storage space for my home therapy supplies. I got this in natural, which I would say is more of a taupe, with a slight gray cast to the lighter brown tones. It went together well and without any complications. I found a box the height of a small shelf so I could screw it together more easily (resting the shelf side on the top of the box). I didn't give it a full rating in every category, since it isn't real wood."

This storage shelf is amazing.
"This storage shelf is amazing. I liked it so much that I bought another one. I use them as night stands for my bedroom. I recently bought a new bed and the colors accentuate my new bed. It took less than 30 minutes to assemble and I'm very pleased with my purchase. Would definitely recommend."

Used 2 of the small
"Used 2 of the small bookshelf on the right , side by side. I didnt like how vertical plate sticks out little more than horizontal plate. so I bought a wood from homdepot and put it on top. still a space between woodtop & shelf but its ok. Iris products are easy to assemble. wish the made it perfect on everyside. not sticking out. 4. 5/5 for me. Happy with purchase."

Very sturdy. Just the right
"Very sturdy. Just the right height and great for my small space. Beautiful natural wood finish. Matches my other furniture perfectly. Easy and quick to assemble despite the directions not being very good. I wish the surface area was a tad bit wider when It's vertical but I knew the dimensions before I brought it. It did come with two slight imperfections but they're so miniscule it's barely noticeable. Overall I think the quality is pretty good despite the low price and am very happy with my purchase."

"It was a tad bit shorter than I expected, there's a bit of lost shelf space at the top and bottom that I didn't account for. I put the shelves on their sides and it woks for my automotive manuals."

I love this product —
"I love this product — I’m a fan of IRIS products and was looking for a trusty shelf to use as a bedside table. This was the one. It’s relatively easy to put together but is best done with two people. I did it by myself but had some trouble and it took time plus I messed up a couple places. If you have a friend or partner or roommate, it’ll be easier — but not impossible alone!I use it to hold my books and some decor. It’s solid, won’t fall apart easily or so it seems, and is a nice color. You get more than you pay for but you don’t get solid wood if that’s what you’re expecting. I was NOT expecting mahogany bookshelves and so am pleased with what these $30 babies offer me!"

"I really like these Iris products and have been using them for several years in closets and small spaces where big bookshelves just don't fit. They are becoming difficult to find, so I'm hoping they are not becoming a discontinued item. They are quite easy to assemble and are well-built and sturdy, come in several finishes."
