I have those plastic teacher

"I have those plastic teacher trays from Lakeshore (10x14x3”) and have not been able to find a rack for them. Whyyyyy?!? I saw another reviewer who used for the same trays but had to drill holes to adjust because the shelves are not three equal measurements. If you are doing the same, these are the measurements I used… from the top of the side pieces (with holes), measure down and mark at 4-3/8” and 8-1/4”. I don’t recall which size drill bit was used but it was bigger than one and smaller than the next size so it needs a little wiggling. Hope this helps!"

It's a great and useful

"It's a great and useful product- It wasn't hard to put together at all! The color is a little cool in real life (almost gray-ish) compared to the photo which is unfortunate for me. I have it sitting on a real oak desk so it's an obvious difference. However, if I wasn't trying to "match" something else it wouldn't bother me. The shelves did have a little peeling on the edges. It's not too bad now but I hope it doesn't get worse. All in all though, for the price, I recommend it!"

Great item

"The space between the shelves is great 4 inches. You can also purchase more & they stack nicely. They are heavy so I couldn't put it on top of plastic draw rolling cart. Would recommend."

Very solid performance!

"The back panels on shelves like these are usually cardboard. This one is not; it's a pressboard and solid. The shelves are easy to assemble and look great once in use. I used mine as a rack for my DVD player, Blueray player, and cable box."

First of all - I

"First of all - I DO remmend this product. The good: High quality, looks nice, was exactly as described. The not so good: packaging was a bit lacking. Each little shelf unit I bought came in its own box with Styrofoam around the sides, but not on the top and bottom. So if the top or bottom of the box got banged in shipping I would think the wood panels on the top and bottom of the box might have gotten damaged. Mine did not. But the tape came off on one side of one of my boxes, and the box itself had ripped so the stuff inside the box was starting to slide out the side. Luckily neither of my shelving units were damaged. Also, the little pegs that hold up the shelves were not the kind you press into the holes, they were screw-in. I thought this was not a great design because the pegs are tiny and hard to grip. I hurt my fingers trying to get then in all the way before I got some players out and even then it was a big pain in the neck. This all could have been avoided if they just used pegs that you slide into the holes. ***Lastly - and this was not a huge deal because it's not like they said how far apart the shelves are - but although it has adjustable shelves the holes that allow you to adjust the shelf hight are not drilled in places where you can make all the shelves equal distance. This was a problem for me because I needed to put bins in each of the cubbies and they wouldn't fit it the shelves were not equidistant. So just be aware of that. I was able to fix it by drilling new holes into the side panels so I could place the shelves where I needed. But it was a hassle."

Simple but look good. A

"Simple but look good. A lithely funky to assemble the spiral front screw (which I eventually did not and just used their glue) but they look good and provided the storage I wanted . Purchased the shelves version and the drawers version. Totally worth it!"

The shelves are great and

"The shelves are great and super easy to put together, but they are a lot smaller than I expected. That is my own fault for not reading the dimensions. The inside space is honestly so small that I was only able to place one shelf instead of the two and I was JUST BARELY able to find a basket that would fit. Mine is stacked with the drawer assembly and it works great as a nightstand! Im still giving it a 4 out of 5 because the only flaw is the size and that was my own fault for not reading more"

Works great, though seems a

"Works great, though seems a bit expensive, for what it is: a laminate covered chip-board paper sorter box. Thickness of boards is good and lends to sturdiness. Holds legal size files and easy to adjust shelves after assembled. Seems strong enough to hold our 10 lb wood vertical file box on top. The back is not laminated to match the sides. A bit challenging to assemble if you try to keep the parts in the positions shown in the directions while working on it. Some suggestions: use the diagrams to figure out the positioning of the boards and order of assembly, and then move them into a more stable position to screw together. Holding one board against a vertical surface (side of couch, fireplace hearth. . . ) while attaching another board helped. This will make more sense when you attempt assembly. Or, get someone to help hold the pieces in place. Also, insert the screws most of the way for each board, but don’t tighten completely until you have the entire outer box assembled, then tighten them ensuring the sides are holding the back board securely. The clear pins are for the shelves; the 5 metal pins are for connecting to another box."

Sturdy

"Holes were predrilled incorrectly. Had to have someone else assemble it for me."

The module is the closest

"The module is the closest thing I could find to what I was looking for and basically does the job for me. Two complaints:1. it is not a solid black but more of a grainy black (light gray lines in it) such that it does not perfectly match my existing black cabinet that it sits near, but still pretty close. 2. one panel was chipped in shipping. There was no Styrofoam or other material protecting it other than an extra piece of cardboard next to the outer cardboard of shipping box. It should have had more protection. This is not a problem since I used it for the bottom, instead of top, panel, which doesn't show. But recommend the company pack these better. On the plus side, its adjustable shelves makes it unusually adaptable to different configuration needs. Assembly was pretty easy."
