"I think this may be my new favorite rice! It is so soft and fluffy it really goes with just about anything. I love using it with stir fry on the side with chicken or tofu and it's also really good in a bowl with some hearty Vegetarian chili. Definitely a must try!"

"I have tried Japanese rice grown in California and there is no comparison. This is worth the extra price. Protip: Don't buy rice grown in Texas/Louisiana/etc. It is high in arsenic. California rice is not, but it is also flavorless."

"I was very happy with the quality of Ohyama Koshihikari Japanese Short Grain Rice. Although this product's package is entirely in Japanese a sticker was placed on it with English cooking instructions. I do have a rice cooker which I used when making this rice. The instructions did provide directions for cooking on a stovetop as well. Loved how evenly this cooked throughout each grain. Not mushy at all!"

"Delicious rice that is very easy to cook. I love that it is pre measured. It's very easy to pour into a pot or into my rice cooker. The rice comes out great every time. Rice fluffs up nicely and doesn't end up a sticky mess."

I set it up and cooked a small package as they come in several packages in on large package. The rice is creamy and fantastic. We cooked the rice and had shrimp chicken and beef. We have already finished the rice and will want MORE!!! This rice is the BOMB!! This is the best rice we have ever had."

"This Japanese rice from Hokkaido cooks up into plump round grains. Also once cooked there's a certain stickiness to it. It would be perfect consistency for making sushi but it would also be great in rice bowl with toppings. The bag comes with 5 individually wrapped rice packets which saves the measuring work."
