IRIS USA Wins IHA Global Innovation Award
IRIS USA has received the International Housewares Association Global Innovations Award (gia) for excellence in product design and innovation for their Top Entry Cat Litter Box at the 2019 International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago.
The Top Entry Cat Litter Box has already proven itself as a favorite among cat-owners, with a sleek, modern look that belies its purpose and an inventive entry design that allows cats total privacy while keeping litter neatly contained inside.
“Congratulations to these winners of the IHA Global Innovation Awards for product design; they are excellent representatives of the cutting-edge innovation and creativity that is driving the housewares industry today,” said Derek Miller, IHA president.
The IHA Global Innovation Awards is the leading housewares industry awards program, covering the industry as a whole including retailers and manufacturers/designers worldwide.
IRIS’ Top Entry Cat Litter Box was selected from over 500 submissions from leading manufacturers around the world, and one of 65 finalists chosen to compete in 13 categories spanning the housewares arena, from Smart Home, Pet Products, Home Organization + Storage, and more. Products were evaluated on criteria including Innovation, Appearance, User Benefits, Ecological Responsibility, and Market Impact.
The product was announced as the overall winner in the Pet Products category at an invitation-only Gala held Saturday, March 3rd and remained on display throughout the trade show.
