 SUMMARY:

Supports the corporate Human Resources Department by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties with a focus in areas of recruiting, new hire orientation, and customer service.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

Administrative:

  • Answers, screens, and directs inbound calls as well as internally by using semi-automated phone system.
  • Greets customers, visitors, and vendors, assists and routes them accordingly.
  • Create and manage job postings internal & external.
  • Makes frequent announcements over the intercom.
  • Create new hire badges, along with employee replacement badges, tracking replacement badges.
  • Updates company phone directory as well as sort and deliver mails, faxes, and packages.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as compiling recording and monitoring various forms of data.
  • Assists with employee documentation through scanning and creating new forms.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of people internally and externally to accomplish Company’s goals and objectives.
  • Perform similar level or nature of duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • One (1) year related experience

Knowledge:

  • Office management and organization

 Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English AND JAPANESE PREFERRED
  • Use of computer hardware: keyboard, mouse, monitor, hard drive
  • Use of computer software: Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Preparation and presenting presentations.

 Ability to:

  • Present data and information in a variety of methods
  • Continuously challenge oneself and others to improve better operating practices.

Activities will involve frequent sitting, using a computer, analyzing large amounts of data, communicating verbally and in writing. Exerting 20- 50 pounds occasionally, 10- 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Operate a variety of standard office equipment including a computer, telephone, calculator, copy, and fax machine requiring continuous and repetitive arm, and hand and eye movement. Move and operate presentation equipment. Travel to and from meetings and various locations inside and outside the building.
