I wish their was a

"I wish their was a bigger size but so far this one works for me and my two dogs. One is about 18lb and the other is 9lb and they both use this one with an oversized pad. I love that it's hard plastic and can be washed or hosed down just incase the pad fails and it leaks on too the holder. The only down fall is that if it does leak into the middle there is holes and several crevices and opening so it spills their there and onto the floor."

As my Yorkies got into

"As my Yorkies got into their senior years, incontinence problems started, so I trained them to pee pads if they couldn't hold between trips outside. Worked very well, but sometimes aim wasn't quite centered, and the wetness ran under the pad. This tray is a brilliant idea. It is much more substantial than it looks in the picture. The plastic is slightly flexible, not brittle thin, so it should last for many years. My first two "senior citizens" passed away, and I have an 8-year old left. She learned from them, occasionally can't make it through the night, and this was a gift for both uf us. After putting the pad into the tray, she stepped right into it (not afraid), sniffed, and understood. She hasn't had to use it yet, but it's there for her. It holds the edges down perfectly. I imagine it would hold newspapers, but I don't want ink on paws and tile, so I will continue to use pads. You may want to consider hospital supply pads of the same size. You can purchase in bulk, making it more cost effective than pet pads."

I now have purchased two

"I now have purchased two of these pee pad holders. It works very well. We started training our little yorkie to use pee pads only as soon as we got her at 12 weeks of age. (She is now nearly 5 yrs old. ) We knew she would not be bigger than 5 pounds and thought this would work well for her and we would not have to take her outside each time she needed to go. One advantage of using this holder over just putting pads on the floor, is the beveled edge all around. If she gets a little too close to the edge, instead of getting our carpet wet, only the edge of the holder gets it. Simple to wipe off. Our original holder is now 5 years old and is like new. It folds up in half so we can easily take it with us when we travel. Suggestion: We now purchase 23"x36" adult underpads from Sam's. These fit perfectly in the holder, are much thicker than puppy pee pads and. . . . are very, very much cheaper!"

I was using the pee

"I was using the pee pee dog pads since I live in an apartment and can't always make it downstairs with my dog. She was very good about peeing on the pads but sometimes would pee right on the edge and it would run into my carpet (yuck). Or, while she was sniffing around to find the right spot or while she was running around and playing, she would move them and then it would be out of place and thus she'd go on the carpet. So I bought these trays and it has been SUCH a great investment. I have a medium sized dog so I ordered two and put them side by side to give her more surface area to choose from but really one is big enough. I really didn't need two. I recommend to anyone who is using pee pad. It holds them in place really well."

The extra-large size is good.

"The extra-large size is good. My puppy can roam around and pee or poo. It’s one of the best purchases for my puppy. It is sturdy and holds the pee pad tightly. I bought three of them; I placed two in my living room and one in the master bedroom. My puppy recognizes this pee pad and always pees and poos correctly."

Fits my XL pee pads

"Fits my XL pee pads well and does the job. My only complaint is that it is a little harder to put the pad into it because of the way the clamps work. Because theres two clamps, one for each half of the sheet, the middle of the pad will stick out a bit at the edges. I think it would be better if there was just one clamp."

I've used the pet pads

"I've used the pet pads for quite some time already as a backup if my dogs can't wait til I get home from work, or overnight. They hardly ever use the pads, but on the few occasions they can't wait, they just seem to know to go on the pads. So when I saw this tray to hold the pads, I thought it would be a great idea. The tray holds the large pads nicely, you just lift the ends and it clamps down on the edge. So the concept is really good. . . . . . . . and I like it, but I would suggest purchasing it right away when you decide to start using the pads. Because my dogs were already used to having the pads directly on the floor, they didn't like this 'something new' and ended up peeing right along side it instead of on it. I tried for a while to see if I could get them used to stepping up on the tray, but they didn't like the feel of it and I went back to just putting the pads directly on the floor where I now have no issues. I will save it for my next dog (as I will always have a dog as part of my family), but will begin training with it right away."

Works great for potty training.

"Winter makes it difficult for potty training, so this has helped immensely!"

I have two rambunctious puppies

"I have two rambunctious puppies that love to destroy pee pads, not even taping the whole perimeter to the floor stoped them, but this pad holder solved the issue. They pulled one of the pads from the holder, so I tape the corners to the blue part of the holder that will be covered by the perimeter holder. One thing I didn’t like was that sometimes if they peed too close to the perimeter the pee leaked down to the floor. So after weeks of cleaning and frustration I found washable pee pads for dogs, reusable super absorbent, non-slip and leak proof. I put a large one under two pad holders next to each other so I have at least 6” of washable pad outside the plastic holder and it worked! I bought two so if one needs to be washed I still have the other."
