I love this Milky Queen
"I love this Milky Queen rice from Japan. The rice cooks to perfection in the time provided in the instructions. I have cooked it in water broth and a mixture and it always turns out perfect. The flavor is excellent and this rice makes a superior accompaniment to any stir fried dish or anywhere you would use regular rice or a potato."

As a busy single mom
"As a busy single mom this was perfect for my daughter and i. I love how the rice comes in portioned sealed packages. About 2 cups work of rice comes in one package so it worked out perfectly for us. The rice is a great quality and paired well with my dishes I can't wait to make sushi and ahi bowls with this rice."

How real rice is supposed
"How real rice is supposed to taste. It is full of flavor and fills me up without weighting me down. Way better quality then regular store brands. I have the OHYAMA Nanatsuboshi From Hokkaido Japanese Premium Short Grain White Rice. It's a Product Of Japan."

The short grain rice was
"The short grain rice was something different I wanted to try. I've always use long grain. Love the fact these came in 2 cup individual bags. Great for serving size. My kids even notice the difference in texture and size. We all loved it and I would buy again."

We've been loving this Milky
"We've been loving this Milky Queen short grain white rice. The individual packs make it very easy to prepare. We don't have a rice cooker but it was easy to convert metric to cups and cook on a stovetop. Using about 2 cups of water per packet for 15 minutes over low and letting it sit for 5-10 minutes made for perfect rice. The taste is great and the texture almost reminds me of a savory sticky rice. Day old rice also makes perfect fried rice too."

Yum
"This rice is SUPER soft. It cooks quickly and easily and can be eaten with many different dishes. It has a mild almost sweet but not in a sugary way flavor. There is plenty enough in one pack for a meal for two."

Expensive but worth it
"I have tried Japanese rice grown in California and there is no comparison. This is worth the extra price. Protip: Don't buy rice grown in Texas/Louisiana/etc. It is high in arsenic. California rice is not, but it is also flavorless."
