SUMMARY: System Administrator (Microsoft 365) will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's Microsoft 365 environment ensuring users have access to resources needed and the organizations data is secured.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
· Manage and maintain the organization's Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Intune, Power Platform, and other Microsoft 365 services
· Work with the IS team to ensure that all users have access to the resources they need, and that the organization's data is secure and protected
· Configure and manage email security and anti-spam measures, including Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
· Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, including creating and managing Teams, channels, and members
· Manage and troubleshoot SharePoint Online, including creating and managing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows
· Manage and troubleshoot OneDrive for Business, including user access, synchronization, and versioning.
· Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, management, and apps management
· Monitor and analyze system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
· Stay up to date with new features and functionality in Microsoft 365 and recommend improvements and changes to the IS team
· Oversee customer satisfaction by the systems team related to system access, permissions rights, security compliance related activities and responsibilities
· Manage the ticketing system to ensure customers’ needs are resolved timely and processes improved.
· Make it a priority to see that disaster recovery and emergency operating procedures are in place and tested on a regular basis and beyond
· Thoroughly conduct and complete annual reviews and audits as required engaging both internal business partners across the organization and external resources
· Act project manager of major issues and provide a summary of events to track root cause
· Communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of people internally and externally to accomplish Company’s goals and objectives
· Respond to Help Desk incidents/requests within IS SLA & perform onsite/remote desktop support
· Perform other similar level duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science and/or information technology or equivalent years related experience; and,
· Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft 365 system administration
· One (1) year of experience with email security and anti-spam measures, including Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
· One (1) year experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
Knowledge of:
· Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Teams.
· IT Service Management (ITIL V4)
· Project Management (PMBOK)
· Information technology and industry best practices
Skill in:
· Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
· Microsoft 365 services (Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune, and Power Platform.
· Active Directory, Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, PowerShell, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, SMTP
· Windows 10, 11, iOS, Android
· Using computer hardware, servers and related hardware
